Vaisala Polaris PR53SD Safe-Drive process refractometer is an advanced inline concentration measurement device with a retractable design, specifically developed for safety-critical applications in the pulp and paper industry. Operating based on optical refractive index (RI) technology, it measures dissolved solids (TDS) and concentration values with high accuracy.
Thanks to the Safe-Drive mechanism, the device can be safely removed and serviced even while the process line is running. This feature minimizes production downtime while maximizing operator safety. It is an ideal solution for critical measurements, especially in black liquor and chemical recovery processes.
